About this section

This section holds the procedural guides: what the law requires, in what order, with which documents and from whom. Every guide opens with a short answer, cites the texts (law, decree, order, article) and ends with the frequently asked questions and the list of sources consulted.

The guides are written from the texts published in the Official Bulletin and from the administrations’ own documents (urban agencies, communes, the Land Registry). Where we could not read a text in its official version, the guide says so. The date of the last verification is at the top of every page.

What this section does not do: advise on your file. For a particular situation an architect, a notary or a lawyer remains necessary; the guides say at which point.
