Policy

A substantive error — a rule misdescribed, a text miscited, a wrong figure — is corrected in the page as soon as it is established, with a dated note at the foot of the guide, and entered in the record below. A clerical error (spelling, link, formatting) is corrected without a note.

A guide part of which is in question stays online with a warning at the top until the correction is made; it is not withdrawn without explanation.

Reporting an error

Write to us with the page, the passage and, where possible, the text or document that contradicts what we wrote: Contact. We answer every report and say what we did with it.
