Editorial policy
The rules Built Morocco holds itself to: independence, verification against the texts, dates shown, public corrections.
Independence
Built Morocco accepts no advertising, no sponsored article and no payment from a third party for content. No professional, no administration and no developer reads a guide before publication or steers its content. The day the site’s funding changes, this page will say so first.
Verification
A procedural guide is written from the texts: laws, decrees, orders, circulars, in the version published in the Official Bulletin or issued by the administration that applies them. Articles are cited. Where a text could only be read on a reproduction, the guide says so; where it could not be read, the guide says so and does not summarise it.
Dates
Every guide carries the date of its last verification against the texts and the date of its next review. A guide whose review is overdue shows it. Texts change; an undated guide is not a reference.
What is known and what is not
The guides separate the written rule, the observed practice and what we do not know. A local practice is presented as such. An uncertainty is written, not smoothed over.
What the guides are not
General information, not advice on a particular situation. The guides say at which point an architect, a notary, a surveyor or a lawyer becomes necessary; they do not replace them and recommend none.
Three languages
The French, English and Arabic versions of a guide are written from the same sources and checked together. Where a text is quoted in Arabic, the version published in the Arabic Official Bulletin prevails; working translations are marked.
Corrections
Errors are corrected in the page, with a dated note, and recorded on the Corrections page. To report an error: Contact.
